
The Committee on Petitions met in Brussels on Nov. 25 (15h00 - 18h30) and 26 (9h00 - 12h30) for its penultimate meeting of 2013.
Many relevant debates graced the floor, fostering the ever-ebullient Members´ debates. In particular this month´s Agenda featured:
- the vote on PETI´s Opinion on the 29th Annual Report on EU Law application;
- the first official Committee visit by the European Ombudsman: Ms. Emily O´Reilly;
- Single-market issue involving recognition of UK-Italy Academic qualifications;
- Environmental concerns in Hungary, Italy and Spain;
- EU Budget, based on a petition on cuts in the European civil service.
